Two of Chicago's Very Own!! Promoter Bob Luce and "The Worlds Most Dangerous Wrestler" Dick The Bruiser!
Because of the two Chicago legends, The Chicago International Amphitheatre, WSNS TV and WCIU TV 26 were home to Professional Wrestling!
Commercials like Southland Motors, Ben's Auto Sales, One Stop Food and Liquer became household names!
Join Promoter Bob Brooks as he is joined by Richard Vicek and Scott Romer as we remember Chicago's Very Own!
As a Chicagoland and Midwest Professional Wrestling Promoter, I can tell you that Promoter Bob Luce, was way ahead of his time!
Not only did Professional Wrestling fans tune into Bob's show every week on WSNS TV Channel 44 in Chicago, but so did thousands of viewers who wanted to watch his show to learn, to be entertained, and to be informed.
Yes, Bob was a modern day Carni Promoter. He was a combination of Larry King, Geraldo, and Ron Popeil! Remember "The Hold of The Week"? Bens Auto Sales, Southland Motors, One Stop Food and Liquer, and The Chicago Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Fan Club??
Here's a guy who had some rough tough pals around him, like "The Worlds Most Dangerous Wrestler" Dick The Bruiser,Wilbur Snyder, and his ol pal "Yukon Moose" Cholak. Bob would be fair, bringing in "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant, and Ox Baker, and, "Pretty Boy" Bobby Heenan!
Join us This week as we remember Chicago's Very Own Promoter, Bob Luce!

Learning from a Mentor and All Time Great!
Promoter Bob Brooks listens closely to one of The All Time Greats in Professional Wrestling, a Longtime Friend, and one of the Most Respected names in Professional Wrestling for 50 years!
Paul "The Butcher" Vachon!
Paul and I reminisced about the early days, The Golden Days, in Professional Wrestling, from Chicago to Calgary!
Remembering The Bloody Tag Team Championships with his brother and Tag Team Partner, Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon, against "The Worlds Most Dangerous Wrestler" Dick The Bruiser and "The Wrestler Who Made Milwaukee Famous
"The Crusher"!
Paul was on Classic Professional Wrestling in an exclusive interview with Promoter Bob Brooks and then just 2 weeks later, returned to pay tribute to another Ring Villain, Hans Schmidt!
I am dedicating the two show to my friends, and Female Wrestling Greats Diane "Vivian" Vachon and Gertrude "Luna" Vachon.
We lost you way to early, but your beauty and ring presence will always be remembered on Classic Professional Wrestling!
